Marketing Coordinator

What do you do for WMS?

I’m a marketing coordinator which includes taking care of ads, sales literature, graphics for customers, promotional items, assisting with brand licensing approvals, direct mail pieces, planning for marketing events, and anything else that pops up! 

Where did you work before WMS?

I was a sales consultant for an IT company.

What is your favorite movie?

Dr. Zhivago

What is it that you most dislike?

An empty Starbucks coffee cup.

Which word or phrases do you most overuse?

“Fabulous”

Which talent would you most like to have?

I like to think I’m pretty good, but I’ve been told my karaoke skills are something to be improved.

Assistant General Counsel

What do you do for WMS?

I'm the Assistant General Counsel. I work on general corporate issues, securities exchange commission matters, contracts, policies and litigation.

Where did you work before WMS?

At a national law firm, Jenkens & Gilchrist.

What is your favorite movie?

The Usual Suspects

What is it that you most dislike?

Rudeness

Which word or phrases do you most overuse?

OK

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to carry a tune.




Jacob Greenberg
Sr. Technical Lead, Mechanical Engineering Department

What do you do for WMS?

I am a Sr. Technical Lead in the Mechanical Engineering department.  I lead hardware design teams and work with all areas of the company to invent, develop, and improve new products.  Recently I worked as the lead for the five reel mechanical product, and am currently leading the team developing the new Bluebird 2 cabinet.

Where did you work before WMS?

I worked for General Binding Corporation designing paper punch and binding equipment for office and production applications.  Prior to that I worked in the design and manufacturing of automotive gaskets at Fel-Pro and automotive/industrial clutches at Warner Electric.  I also used to make sandwiches at Togo's and am always happy to discuss the pros and cons of different approaches to sandwich making.

What is your favorite movie?

The Empire Strikes Back

What is it that you most dislike?

I dislike any situation where people aren't respected for the abilities they bring to an activity.  I also can't stand licorice - worst candy ever. 

Which word or phrases do you most overuse?

According to a coworker, I usually phrase design suggestions in terms of "what that part really wants is...".  Also (and I blame my youth in California for this) I use "bitchin" and "sweet" more than many people might choose to. 

Which talent would you most like to have?

I would welcome any musical talent - losing the beat while singing "Old Macdonald had a farm" with my son is tough.

I worked in IT at US Cellular

Senior Account Manager (6 plus years) in the Midwest

Where did you work before WMS?

Account Rep for Cast Iron Foundry. Worked in the Midwest for 10 years

What is your favorite movie?

The Godfather-reminds me of my upbringing on the Southside of Chicago

What is it that you most dislike?

Incompetence and Lack of effort

No-No to my 20 month old son Peyton!!
