THE ILLINOIS VIDEO GAMING ACT

Signed into law on July 13, 2009, the Illinois Video Gaming Act authorizes the placement of up to five Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) each at an estimated 15,000 licensed liquor pouring establishments including bars, restaurants, truck stops, fraternal and veterans’ organizations.

The Illinois Gaming Board released applications for Terminal Operators on May 24, 2010.
