We Innovate the Hardware and the Technology
There are three main components to a Video Gaming system: the Video Gaming Terminal (VGT), the Site Controller and the State Central System. The VGT is the game located at a permitted location. Each game is linked to the State Central System, which continuously monitors the VGT's status across multiple data points to ensure the operational and functional integrity of the VGT.
The Site Controller serves a data-management function between the State Central System and the on-site VGTs. It is a microprocessor-controlled device that archives and tracks gaming-machine information for the Central System as well as performs daily accounting duties. Of course, it also serves as a central display point for gaming machine maintenance and security information.
The Central System monitors and governs the activities of the entire video gaming terminal network from a secure location under the control of the Illinois Gaming Board. By design, its configuration and software provide strict data security and high availability of operation.
